Train in Thailand for years — visa ready.

The Destination Thailand Visa lets you live in Chiang Mai with Muay Thai training as your qualifying activity — up to 5 years, 180 days per entry. We provide the training documents that support your application.

The basics

What is the DTV?

The Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) is Thailand's 5-year, multiple-entry visa for remote workers and people joining Thai soft-power activities — including Muay Thai training. Each entry lets you stay up to 180 days, extendable once.

Training at a recognised gym counts as a qualifying activity. That's where we come in: enrol in a long-term program at Wildcat and we provide the paperwork your application needs.

How it works

Three steps to your long stay.

1

Enrol long-term

Pick a monthly or multi-month training plan at Wildcat — your qualifying soft-power activity.

2

We provide your enrolment letter and training confirmation, ready for your application.

3

Apply & settle in

Apply at a Thai embassy or via e-visa, then make Chiang Mai home — up to 5 years.

Eligibility

Am I eligible?

Most applicants need a passport, proof of funds (around 500,000 THB) and a qualifying activity — that's your Muay Thai enrolment. Requirements vary by embassy; message us and we'll point you in the right direction for your situation.

★★★★★
I just got a DTV soft power visa after booking with this Muay Thai school. Meaw, the owner, is very professional; she provided me with all the necessary documents quickly, and the whole process went very smoothly. I highly recommend it.

How long can I stay on a DTV?
The visa is valid 5 years, multiple entry. Each entry allows up to 180 days, extendable once for another 180 days inside Thailand.
Does Muay Thai training really qualify?
Yes — Muay Thai is one of Thailand's recognised soft-power activities. A long-term enrolment at a gym like Wildcat is your qualifying activity.
What documents does Wildcat provide?
An enrolment letter and a training confirmation matching your program. The rest (passport, proof of funds, application) stays on your side — we'll guide you through it.
How much money do I need to show?
Embassies generally ask for proof of around 500,000 THB in savings. Exact requirements vary by embassy — check the one where you'll apply.
Where do I apply?
At a Thai embassy or consulate outside Thailand, or online via the official Thai e-visa system, depending on your country.
